Carlock's America 250 Celebration

It's been a while since the Village of Carlock has had a party, but this year is the 250th birthday of the United States of America so we're going to party like it's 1776! We hope you will join us!

The America250 Committee, Co-chaired by John & Dawn Holliger, and made up of community members across the Carlock area are working hard to put together a fun and meaningful event.

Did you know, at the Bicentennial Celebration in 1976, the people of Carlock buried a time capsule to be opened in 50 years on July 4th, 2026? The Time Capsule Reveal will be part of the celebration on Saturday, July 4th, down at the park.
